Travel Photography Portfolio
Travel photography gives me an excuse to combine two of my favourite things: exploring new places and having a camera in my hand.
Over the years I've photographed cities, coastlines, landscapes and everyday moments across the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. Sometimes it's an iconic landmark, sometimes it's a hidden side street, and sometimes it's simply a moment that caught my eye while wandering around somewhere new.
My approach to travel photography is the same as it is for the rest of my work – looking for interesting light, genuine moments and photographs that tell a story about a place. Rather than ticking off a list of tourist attractions, I'm often drawn to the details that give a destination its character.
This collection includes photographs taken in London, Rome, Mykonos, Sydney, Naples, Verona, South Africa, India and the Lake District, along with a growing selection of images from other destinations.
Whether it's a dramatic landscape, striking architecture or a fleeting moment on a busy street, travel photography is a reminder that great photographs can be found almost anywhere if you're willing to slow down and look.
