Every pet has its own personality. Some are energetic and playful, others are calm observers, and some prefer to investigate absolutely everything. My job isn't to force them into poses but to capture the character that makes them unique.
Pet Photography Without The Stress
Most pets have absolutely no interest in posing for photographs.
The good news is they don't need to.
My approach to pet photography is relaxed, patient and focused on capturing genuine moments rather than forcing perfect poses. Whether you've got an energetic puppy, a curious cat, a senior companion or a pet with a personality all of their own, I'll create photographs that reflect who they really are.
Sessions are designed around your pet rather than the other way around. We'll take our time, follow their lead and create natural photographs that you'll enjoy for years to come.

A typical session lasts around an hour and is designed around your pet's personality, energy levels and attention span.
We'll work at a relaxed pace, allowing plenty of time for breaks, play and exploration. My aim is to create photographs that feel natural and authentic rather than overly posed or staged.
Most sessions take place outdoors, but we can discuss locations and ideas depending on the type of photographs you're looking for.

My dog won't sit still. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most dogs spend very little time sitting still. Some of the best photographs come from playing, exploring and simply letting them be themselves.
Can I be in the photographs too?
Absolutely. Many pet owners choose to be included in some of the photographs and these often become favourite images.
Where do sessions take place?
Most pet photography sessions take place outdoors in parks, woodland areas and locations your pet enjoys visiting.
Can you photograph nervous pets?
Yes. A calm, patient approach is often all that's needed. We'll work at your pet's pace and create an experience that feels comfortable for them.
